Requiring watering just four times per year in normal applications, WATER LESS® combines the benefit of full power and reduced cost.

- Valve-regulated ('sealed') products, while being environmentally friendly, can cost you extra dollars in terms of lost capacity, reduced cycle life and higher initial cost. They also require a special charger.
WATER LESS® on the other hand, reduces maintenance expenses over 90% while maintaining full capacity and long cycle life. The WATER LESS® battery does not require a special charger.

Environmentally Safe

ENVIROLINK™ (VRLA) batteries are very different from our flooded lead-acid battery products. The ENVIROLINK™ battery is a completely sealed gel electrolyte battery. The battery never needs electrolyte or water added.
The electrolyte has been immobilized within each cell, and the vent cap has been replaced with a permanent valve, making this battery leakproof/spillproof-and completely environmentally safe.

 POWER PACK

Hawker's PowerPack is the perfect solution for your light duty applications. With the power to provide up to 250 minutes of continuous light duty service, this rugged battery has plenty of features at a competitive price. It's sleek maintenance-free design means no watering, no routine maintenance, no hassles - ever. Simply plug into any 120 AC volt outlet, plug the battery connector into the charger connector, then let the charger automatically return the battery pack to a full state of charge. No mess, no worries, no problems!

The PowerPack is ideal to use on the back of a delivery truck for local deliveries, at grocery and retail stores, or anywhere an occassional pallet needs to be moved.

1. Add approved water only - never add acid.

2. Keep electrolyte level above separator protectors.

3. Keep battery top clean and dry.

4. Keep flame and metal away from battery top.

5. Keep vent caps tightly in place.

6. Discharge to 80% only and do not operate battery if the specific gravity is below 1.150 for POWERLINE, VARTA, WATER LESS and TOP POWER, and 1.175 for ENERGY-PLUS.

7. Cool before charging or operating if battery is above 115° F.

8. Use only approved charger of correct voltage and current output.

9. Keep truck compartment and battery cover open during charging.

10. When in doubt, call your HAWKER POWERSOURCE service representative for long, reliable battery life.

Watering Instructions

Approved Water

In most areas of the United States, tap water is satisfactory for use
in lead acid batteries. Use distilled water when in doubt.

Proper Electrolyte Level

The electrolyte level must be kept between the "High Watering Level" and the
separator protectors shown in the sketch below. The batteries should be
filled only at the end of the charging cycle.

Caution - DO NOT OVERFILL

Moisture on the TOPS of the batteries indicates overfilling has occurred.
